In the Georgian period ( 1714, 1830 ) Bath was very popular and became the social center of England. Bath has a huge architectural quality. In fact, four people, John Woods and John Woods jr. , Ralph Alen and Richard Nash, wanted to make this city one of the most beautiful in Europe. And they built fine monuments like the Royal Crescent.
The Royal Cresent is a group of 30 houses built by John Woods jr. from 1767 to 1774. Currently this monument includes a museum and a hotel « The Royal Crescent Hotel ».
